Do you want to age-proof your brain?
A lot of us worry about getting older — but there’s a way to reverse the mental aging process.
In this short clip from A-fest Greece, celebrity hypnotherapist, Marisa Peer, describes simple brain exercises called “neurobics” that help keep the brain young.
The brain, just like the body, ages when we don’t exercise it.
When we don’t exercise, our bodies start to deteriorate. Even young people can see these effects — medical records show an uptick in the amount of younger people coming in for surgeries traditionally offered to older people, due to a more sedentary lifestyle.
And inactivity also hurts the brain.
If not maintained, our mental powers start declining at a startlingly young age. Recent research suggests that reasoning, spatial visualization and speed of thought all begin to diminish in our 20s and 30s.
We reverse this process when we exercise our brains. And we’re able to improve our memory, creativity and problem-solving capabilities.
