Laura's yoga journey didn't start in a romantic way: sitting long hours by the desk in her publishing job at California, she was looking for an escape from the chronic back pain and headaches. Much to her surprise, she soon realised that there's more to yoga than just physical relief. Showing up on the mat taught her how to respect her body, tune into her heart and de-clutter the mind. And although she didn't quit her office job, move to Bali or become vegetarian — yoga is the one thing that has stayed constant in her daily routine over the last decade.
